Fidgeting vs. Stimming
Fidgeting or stimming allows us to self-regulate, express, or find comfort when overstimulated. Anyone can stim, although, it is often associated with people on the spectrum.

The meaning of FIDGET is uneasiness or restlessness as shown by nervous movements. In more casual terms, a fidget is often the device someone might use to stim.

A STIM is a self-stimulatory behavior that is marked by a repetitive action or movement of the body.
